Each year there are numerous scholarships available through partner organizations and generous donors. See the Applications and Information documents below to learn more and to apply.
Kindergarten-8th Grade
We work hard to ensure we offer an affordable education at Saint John's School. Additionally, Tuition Assistance is available; we approach each family on an individual level and are excited to meet you where you're at.
Annual Tuition for Grades K-8: $5,690.00 per child
Annual Technology Fee: $105 per child
If you complete your registration by February 4, 2025, your registration fee will be $150 per family (non-refundable). As of February 5, 2025, the registration fee will be $250.00 per family (non-refundable).
You may split your tuition into multiple payment options to fit your budget. The payment options are: 1 payment, 2 payments, 9 payments (September-May) or 11 payments. (The 11-month payment option is available July-May only. We cannot extend payment options past May.)
At Saint John School of Little Canada, we strive to keep our school tuition affordable, but we know this can sometimes still be a challenge for families. We are fortunate enough to have strong parish support, generous individual donors as well as successful fundraisers such as Marathon and the School Auction. These all provide much-needed assistance for families considering our school for their children. All financial aid awards are based on your need determined through TADS financial aid.
How to Apply for Tuition Assistance
Go to the Apply Now! tab on our website, and apply to our school. (If you are a current family, go into your TADS account and apply for financial aid.) Your application must be in GOOD standing, meaning all your supporting documents (tax returns, W2s, etc.) are submitted to TADS. Please continue to follow up with TADS until you are in GOOD standing as we are not able to award any funds until we receive the processed information from TADS. The deadline for spring applications is February 28. If you are beyond that deadline, you may still apply, as we often have money coming in throughout the year to put towards tuition assistance.
After you submit everything and are in GOOD Standing, the Tuition Assistance Committee, (which doesn't begin meeting until late March, or early April), will use the information processed through TADS to determine the award you will receive.
You will be notified of your tuition assistance outcome when we process the information. Our goal is to notify all families by mid-late May.
If the assistance is acceptable, you can continue the steps to complete the tuition agreement.
TADS charges a processing fee per application.
Please watch the following video for a complete rundown of how TADS processes applications for financial aid.

We have parents who work shifts at local events to help earn money towards their tuition. It is a great way to make your tuition more affordable, but also an amazing way to meet other families in Catholic Education!

The Tuition Assistance Committee follows a specific policy when dealing with information from TADS to ensure fair distribution of assistance to families in need.
TADS assesses the family's qualifications for aid and determines the grant distribution based on available funds. Due to budget constraints, we may not be able to provide the full amount that each family qualifies for. For instance, if you are eligible for full tuition, you may receive only a percentage of that amount based on our available aid.
Any external scholarships you receive will be considered in the aid calculation. If you receive a scholarship exceeding the amount determined by TADS, you will receive that full external amount. However, the aid from Saint John's would be adjusted accordingly to accommodate the additional funding you received.
In the event of outside scholarships, our bookkeeper will update your TADS account to reflect where your aid is sourced from.
