Welcome!

I’m excited to be joining the 5th-grade team as an aide teacher and to be part of such a wonderful school community. This is my first year working as an aide teacher, and I’m grateful for the opportunity to learn, grow, and support our students throughout the school year. I’m especially thankful to have the guidance and leadership of our classroom teacher, Kristin Vansickle, whose support has helped make this new experience both exciting and rewarding.

Professional & Musical Background

Music has been a meaningful part of my life for as long as I can remember. I have spent many years growing as a musician and have had the opportunity to share my love of music with others in many different ways. I'll also be serving as a church choir leader, helping others discover the joy of singing, worship, and making music together.
My experiences in music have taught me the importance of patience, teamwork, leadership, creativity, and listening qualities that I’m excited to bring into the classroom. I look forward to using these strengths to encourage and support our 5th-grade students as they learn and grow.

Educational Philosophy

I believe every student has unique gifts, strengths, and ways of learning. My goal as an aide teacher is to create a positive and encouraging environment where students feel supported, respected, and confident in their abilities. I’m excited to work alongside our teacher, assist students with their learning, and celebrate their progress throughout the year.
I’m looking forward to building relationships with our students and being part of a classroom community where learning, kindness, creativity, and growth are encouraged every day.
