Hello! My name is Joyce Snow, and I am excited to begin my second year teaching Spanish at Saint John’s School. Originally from Costa Rica, I have a passion for sharing my language and culture while helping students build confidence communicating in Spanish. Outside of school, I enjoy spending time with my husband, my son, and our pets. I love bringing real-life cultural experiences into my classroom whenever I can.
Professional Background
I studied Information Systems Engineering at Universidad Fidélitas in Costa Rica. Before moving to Minnesota, I worked in the Information Technology and Cybersecurity field, where I developed strong problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.
After moving to the United States, I discovered a passion working with kids and education. I am now excited to begin my second year at Saint John’s School, where I have the privilege of sharing my native language and Costa Rican culture with students from kindergarten through middle school.
