Welcome!
I’m Mrs. VanSickle, and I’m thrilled to welcome you to an exciting academic year filled with engaging activities and meaningful learning. I’m passionate about working alongside my students to create a supportive and dynamic classroom where every learner can thrive.
  
Professional Background:
I earned my Bachelor of Science in Psychology with a minor in Coaching from the University of Wisconsin River Falls, followed by a Master of Arts in Curriculum and Instruction from the University of St. Thomas in Minneapolis. Since joining the Saint John’s community in April 2000, I have enjoyed growing both personally and professionally in this vibrant environment.
Outside of teaching, I love coaching, staying active through sports, gardening, reading, and cherishing time with my family.

Educational Philosophy:
My goal is to cultivate a welcoming and positive classroom atmosphere where students feel valued and inspired to engage deeply in their learning. I believe that every student has unique strengths and, through encouragement and collaboration, we can unlock their full potential together.
